There are lots of different ways of praying, we do not always have to use words. We can wait on God in silence; we can pray with music, with paintings, and we can also pray with colour.
This day will start with worship then, after an introductory talk on "Prayer and Colour", look at some examples. This will be followed by time for each person to explore using colour for themselves. You do not need to be able to draw or paint, just be prepared to explore and try something new.
Participants can bring their own art materials or use those provided.
Towards the end of the afternoon, those who wish can share their work and their thoughts with others before giving thanks in the closing worship.
